Accessibility Statement

    Last updated: 1 May 2026

Vista Smile Studio is committed to making our website and our clinic accessible to as many people as possible, including disabled users and people with long-term health conditions. This statement applies to vistasmileturkey.com and to the in-person services we provide at our practice in Didim, Turkey.

    1. Standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at AA level. This is the standard recommended for UK public-facing websites and is widely used by private healthcare providers.

    2. What you can do on our site

    • Resize text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
    • Navigate the entire site using a keyboard.
    • Use a screen reader (we test with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on iOS).
    • Read content with sufficient colour contrast.
    • Watch the site adapt to mobile, tablet and desktop screens.

    3. Known limitations

We are working to address the following:

    • Some before/after photos do not yet have detailed alt text.
    • A small number of PDF brochures are not fully tagged for screen readers.
    • Embedded third-party widgets (e.g. Google Maps) may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA.

Where you encounter content that is not accessible to you, please contact us and we will provide it in an alternative format within 5 working days.

    4. Getting in touch

If you need information from our website in a different format such as accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille, email vistasmilestudio@gmail.com or call +44 7399 614 576. We will do our best to respond within 5 working days.

    5. In-clinic accessibility

Our clinic in Didim has step-free access at the main entrance, an accessible WC, and treatment chairs that can accommodate most mobility needs. Please tell us about any access requirements when you book and we will plan your visit accordingly.

    6. Enforcement

If you contact us with a complaint about accessibility and you are not satisfied with our response, UK users can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.

    7. How we test

The site is reviewed using a combination of automated tools (axe DevTools, Lighthouse) and manual testing with keyboard and screen reader. The most recent review was completed in May 2026.
