Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy

    Last updated: 1 May 2026

Vista Smile Studio is committed to creating a clinic and workplace where every patient, employee, supplier and partner is treated with dignity and respect. This Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy sets out our values and the standards expected from everyone associated with our practice.

    1. Scope

This policy applies to all clinical and non-clinical staff, contractors, students, suppliers, and patients of Vista Smile Studio, including UK patients travelling to Turkey for treatment.

    2. Our commitments

    • We provide care without discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation – the protected characteristics under the UK Equality Act 2010 – or any equivalent characteristic protected by Turkish law.
    • We make reasonable adjustments to enable disabled patients and staff to access our services, premises and employment opportunities.
    • We use clear, jargon-free English in our patient communications and offer interpretation where needed.
    • We recruit, promote, train and reward on merit alone.
    • We do not tolerate harassment, victimisation or bullying in any form.

    3. Patients

Every patient is welcomed regardless of background. We will adapt consultations, written materials and clinical care – for example by allowing extra time, using accessible communication, or accommodating cultural preferences – wherever this is reasonably possible.

    4. Staff

Recruitment, pay, training, promotion and dismissal decisions are based on objective criteria. We invest in EDI training for new starters and refresher training for the wider team.

    5. Suppliers and partners

We expect suppliers, hotels, transfer providers and laboratory partners to share our commitment to equality and inclusion. We may withdraw from relationships with partners who fail to meet these standards.

    6. Raising concerns

Anyone who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination should contact the practice manager at vistasmilestudio@gmail.com. Concerns are handled confidentially and without fear of reprisal.

    7. Responsibility and review

The clinic owner is ultimately accountable for this policy. It is reviewed at least every two years and updated whenever law or best practice changes.
